This nautically themed sweater will look great on the littlest man in your life. Choose one of two intarsia motifs inspired by the story of St. Brendan the Navigator, an Irish monk said to have sailed from Ireland to Newfoundland in the 6th century. A classic sailor style collar provides the perfect finishing touch for your little voyager’s traveling wardrobe. Skills required beyond basic knit and purl include knowledge of intarsia and short rows.
To fit sizes: 0-6 (6-12 mo., 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 years).
Finished chest circumference:18 (20, 22, 24, 26) in.
Gauge: 20 sts x 24 rows=4” in stst on size 6 US (4.0mm) needles
