The stitch pattern on this tam was inspired by the image of glowing lights I always associate with the winter holidays. Beads accent the yarn much as candles set out on windowsills accent the quiet dark of winter nights. Sizing: Child (adult). Full circumference of hat at widest point is 20.5 (27.5)”; 52 (70) cm. Hat is shown in the adult size.
Gauge: 21 sts and 32 rows = 4” (10cm) in st st on size 5 US (3.75 mm) needles
Materials
130 (175) yards sport weight yarn; sample shown uses Lorna’s Laces Honor (30% silk/70% alpaca, 275 m, 100g) in Patina.
